You can do it. I can help.
Our emotions fluctuate on a daily basis. Perhaps it was the car that cut us off or the long unproductive day at work that has us fuming. Our daily lives are full of distractions and disruptions. We are use to them being a part of our daily lives. When we are grieving, however, they become the straw that ‘breaks the camels back’ since they seem to be just too much to take. Grief causes a whirlwind of emotions not only on a daily basis but second by second or as one lady said, “My emotions can be different with every breath I take”. One minute we can be doing just fine and the next for no reasons, wham, we are heading for the bottom wondering if we will crash and never get up again. Accepting that our emotions are not under our control and that they will remain that way for some time is the best attitude for a person to have. We will not be able to control our emotions when we are grieving, in fact, by trying to, a person can make matters worst.
